Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have resulted in blackouts in extensive areas of the capital city, Kyiv.

At the same time, a minor was fatally injured in a distinct Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, according to regional authorities.
Moscow has escalated assaults on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while officials has requested "substantial measures" from allies to exert influence on Moscow.
"What is required is not symbolic gestures but strong steps - from the America, Europe and the major economies - in supplying defensive weapons and applying restrictions," was stated in a online statement.
He said that 450 drones and several dozen rockets targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.
The energy minister said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and technical staff were striving to repair systems.
A barrage of missiles struck power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.
Multiple people hurt in the attacks on the capital have been transported for medical care, per statements from local officials.
Area administrators said the city came under intense attacks throughout the evening. A young boy was killed and three other people were hurt.
The strikes come after evenings of air raids in the region, sections of which remain under the control of Moscow's military.
The whole nation is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are harder to identify.
Government officials told journalists that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with attacks already disrupting energy systems.
Authorities confirmed technical personnel and government agencies were anticipating additional strikes.
